To fulfill this mission, we interact closely with LGT business and IT units.Together with a young, highly motivated team you will help build and run the promising platform for Software developers.Your Challenge We seek a skilled Platform Engineer to join our team and take charge of operating and developing Nimbus, the cutting-edge cloud development platform for software products. As the backbone of our development infrastructure, Nimbus provides a seamless environment for our teams to design, build, test, and deploy applications efficiently. We work exclusively for LGT Private Bank group and provide our colleagues in IT and business with a highly functional and reliable infrastructure.Your Profile The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Platform Engineering, Cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, and Dev Ops practices. Experience with containerization, orchestration tools, and scripting languages is essential. A deep understanding of software development lifecycle and the ability to work collaboratively with product development teams is crucial for success in this role. Join us in shaping the future of software development by creating an innovative and efficient cloud platform that empowers developers to build amazing applicationsThe following specific skills/experience are required:5+ years of experience in platform engineering or a similar role Saa S Backend development, preferably in GoStrong experience with Azure cloud services, particularly AKS Proficient in container orchestration and Kubernetes administration Experience with Crossplane for infrastructure orchestration Expertise in developing custom Kubernetes operators using Kubebuilder Good understanding of main network concepts (TCP/IP layers, DNS, HTTP, Routing) Strong knowledge of policy engines (Kyverno and OPA Gatekeeper) Experience with secret management solutions (External Secrets, Azure Key Vault, CSI drivers) Hands-on experience with CNI plugins and network configurations Expertise in implementing and managing ingress/egress controllers Scaled Observability with Open Telemetry, Mesh and e BPF Tooling Strong programming skills in Golang for backend services Advanced knowledge of scaled-up Git Lab CI/CD and Git Ops practices Experience with Infrastructure as and from Code (Ia C & If C) Understanding of container security and network policies English Business fluent Location: Barcelona, SpainThe job offers a hybrid office modality with a minimum office presence of 2 days.About LGT Digital Factory LGT Digital Factory was initiated as a project in 2022 to drive the digital transformation of LGT Private Bank by designing and managing innovative digital tools and seamless user experiences.
