Please do not contact the recruiter directly.Introduction to the vacant position: The Nanomalaria Group is looking for an Early Stage Researcher to work on the development of a new drug against malaria. The contract will be within the framework of the project DAMPA ( DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW GENERATION OF ANTIMALARIAL DRUGS FOR THE POST-ARTEMISININ ERA) , whose main objective is the synthesis and characterization of new compounds with high activity against malaria. Main tasks and responsibilities: Testing of new potential antimalarial compounds in parasite cultures. Encapsulation of these new compounds in immunoliposomes. Cytotoxicity assays of these new compounds. Requirements for candidates: Essential: Experience in the culture ofPlasmodiumfalciparum . Experience in the encapsulation of drugs in liposomes. Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork and collaboration, Commitment, Proactivity, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.
