Project Leadership & Regional Coordination Leadproject planning, scheduling, and executionfor surface facilities inNorth Africa, ensuring adherence toscope, budget, and timeline. Developproject plans, milestones, and deliverablesin collaboration withlocal and regional stakeholders. Monitorproject progress, risks, and contingencies, implementingcorrective actionstailored toNorth African operational contexts. Engineering Design & Technical Oversight Overseeengineering design activitiesfor surface facilities, including: Conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering phasesfor gas/oil processing, compression, and utility systems. Review and approval of technical drawings, P&IDs, PFDs, and 3D models(usingAutoCAD, PDMS, Aveva E3D ). Collaborate withprocurement teamsto selectvendors, contractors, and suppliersforNorth Africa, ensuring: Local content compliance(e.g.,Technical and commercial alignmentwith project requirements. Evaluatetechnical bids, specifications, and complianceforregional projects. Managevendor performance, contracts, and delivery schedules, accounting forlogistics and customs challengesin North Africa. Construction & Commissioning Support (North Africa) Providetechnical supportduringconstruction, installation, and commissioningof surface facilities in both regions. Conductsite visits, inspections, and quality checksto ensure adherence toengineering standards and local regulations. Troubleshoottechnical issuesand coordinate solutions withoperations, HSE, and construction teamsin North Africa. Leadpre-commissioning, start-up, and performance testingof facilities, includingpunch list closure and handover to operations. Spanish/EU HSE standards(e.g.,Conductrisk assessmentsand implementmitigation strategiesforengineering and operational risksin both regions. Engineering, operations, HSE, finance, and legal teams. Suppliers, contractors, regulators (e.g.,AlgerianMinistry of Energy), and local authorities. Facilitatecommunication and alignmentbetween technical teams and project management across regions. Represent the engineering team inproject meetings, technical reviews, and client presentationsfor both markets. Digital Tools & Innovation Utilizeengineering software(e.g.,AutoCAD, PDMS, SolidWorks, Aveva E3D ) andproject management tools(e.g.,Primavera, MS Project ). Promoteinnovation and digital transformationin engineering processes, such as: BIM (Building Information Modeling). AI and data analyticsfor project optimization. Reporting & Documentation (Bilingual/Multilingual) Preparetechnical reports, progress updates, and project documentationfor stakeholders. Maintainas-built drawings, engineering records, and compliance logsfor facilities in both regions.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering(or related field).10+ years in project engineering, with 5+ years in surface facilities(gas/oil processing, compression, utilities). ~ Proven experience in EPC projectsinMiddle East and North Africa(Algeria, Libya). ~ Project management: Planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. Surface facilities engineering: Local content compliance, contract negotiation. Construction & commissioning: Quality control, HSE compliance, start-up support. Digital tools: AutoCAD, PDMS, Primavera, BIM, data analytics. Cultural adaptabilityfor Spain and North Africa. Fluent in English(mandatory). French and/or Arabic(preferred for North African operations).
