If you are passionate about driving excellence in the energy sector, we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity.Senior Project Engineer - Production Facilities / MadridSenior Project Engineer - Surface Facilitieswill support and lead engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring technical excellence, compliance, and alignment with business objectivesto deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient projects.com) with the subject : “Senior Project Engineer - Production Facilities – Madrid”.Project Leadership & Regional CoordinationLead project planning, scheduling, and execution for surface facilities in North Africa, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelineDevelop project plans, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with local and regional stakeholdersMonitor project progress, risks, and contingencies, implementing corrective actions tailored to North African operational contextsEngineering Design & Technical OversightOversee engineering design activities for surface facilities, including conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering phases for gas / oil processing, compression, and utility systemsReview and approval of technical drawings, P&IDs, PFDs, and 3D models (using AutoCAD, PDMS, Aveva E3D).Collaborate with procurement teams to select vendors, contractors, and suppliers for North Africa, ensuring local content compliance (e.g., Technical and commercial alignment with project requirements).Evaluate technical bids, specifications, and compliance for regional projectsManage vendor performance, contracts, and delivery schedules, accounting for logistics and customs challenges in North Africa.Construction & Commissioning Support (North Africa)Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning of surface facilities in both regions.Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality checks to ensure adherence to engineering standards and local regulationsTroubleshoot technical issues and coordinate solutions with operations, HSE, and construction teams in North Africa.Lead pre-commissioning, start-up, and performance testing of facilities, including punch list closure and handover to operations.Spanish / EU HSE standards (e.g., Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for engineering and operational risks in both regions).Digital Tools & InnovationUtilize engineering software (AutoCAD, PDMS, SolidWorks, Aveva E3D) and project management tools (Primavera, MS Project).Promote innovation and digital transformation in engineering processes, such as BIM (Building Information Modeling).AI and data analytics for project optimization.Reporting & Documentation (Bilingual / Multilingual)Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation for stakeholders.Maintain as-built drawings, engineering records, and compliance logs for facilities in both regions.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering (or related field).10+ years in project engineering, with 5+ years in surface facilities (gas / oil processing, compression, utilities).~ Proven experience in EPC projects in Middle East and North Africa (Algeria, Libya).~ Project management: Planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.Surface facilities engineering: Local content compliance, contract negotiation.Construction & commissioning: Quality control, HSE compliance, start-up support.Digital tools: AutoCAD, PDMS, Primavera, BIM, data analytics.Cultural adaptability for Spain and North Africa.Fluent in English (mandatory).French and / or Arabic (preferred for North African operations).Spanish is a plus.Project Leadership & Regional CoordinationEngineering Design & Technical Oversight (North Africa)Procurement & Vendor Management (Local Content Compliance)Construction & Commissioning Support (Dual-Regional)Digital Tools & Innovation#J-18808-Ljbffr
