What you'll be getting up to:
  1. Identify components to be tested and define rapid and pragmatic fit for purpose testing in alignment with the rest of the development squad.
  2. Follow best practices, promote industry standards and ensure our products are reliable with an excellent user experience.
  3. Knowledge of business requirements and their impact on delivery.
  4. Ensure bugs reported in the Defect Management tools are complete, clear, concise, and comprehensive for other team members to replicate and/or understand reported defects with all the necessary supporting information.
  5. Gather, analyse and summarise test results.
  6. Work closely with the development team to provide technical expertise and support in terms of test automation.
  7. Identify opportunities to introduce automation and be open to learn and grow in that area.
  8. The role requires being available for on-call support if required.
Mandatory Skills and Experience:
  1. An understanding of continuous integration/delivery.
  2. Background on testing RESTful Web Services using Postman or similar tools.
  3. Strong background in Agile software development methodologies.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  1. At least 2 years working experience in a Senior QA position. Experience in automation is a plus.
  2. Execute software quality assurance testing via automation tools.
  3. Able to operate as an Analyst / Quality Analyst and Automation QA.
  4. Basic understanding of Playwright, Cypress or similar technologies.
  5. Basic knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
  6. Knowledge of Page Object Model pattern.
  7. Experience using web-based task management and resource allocation tools such as JIRA.
  8. Experience with Linux will also be beneficial.
  9. Knowledge of mobile testing is a plus.
Job Qualifications:
  1. At least 5+ years of working experience in QA working on varied types of software development projects.
  2. Bachelor's degree.
  3. Good oral and written English communication skills.
  4. Creative, analytical, and with strong problem-solving skills.
  5. Strong grasp of established and emerging technologies, systems, platforms, and software.
  6. Ability to organise and manage multiple priorities.
  7. Independent but collaborative, driven, assertive, and willing to work on simultaneous projects.
  8. Ability to work in a team and works well under pressure and deadlines.
  9. Background in Agile Software Development using Scrum Methodology is preferred but not required.
  10. Background in Online Gaming is preferred but not required.
