With a strong focus on research excellence and digital transformation, my client is investing heavily on a large-scale on-premise to Microsoft Azure cloud migration project, modernising critical systems to enhance scalability, security, and data accessibility across research and development teams.About the RoleAs an Azure Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the migration of legacy on-premise systems and data platforms into Azure, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to critical business operations .ResponsibilitiesLead the technical implementation of on-premise to Azure migration projects.Design and deploy secure, scalable cloud environments using Azure services.Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure deployment.Manage and optimize Azure SQL Data Warehouse (DW) / dedicated SQL pool environments to ensure peak performance, availability, and security.Required SkillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields (or equivalent experience).Strong analytical skills, problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Proven experience as an Azure Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer in large enterprise environments.Solid understanding of on-premise infrastructure (Windows Server, VMware, networking). xcskxlj English speaking – business proficiencyWhat’s on OfferCompetitive daily rate100% Remote Working6 month initial contract with extensionsFlexible working scheduleHow to ApplyIf you’re an Azure professional looking to make a real difference in an impact-driven industry, we’d love to hear from you.
