Role: This is a fully remote role open to freelance (autónomo) or contract-based professionals based in Spain. We are seeking a versatile Data & AI Engineer, preferably with strong Azure and Python skills, to support internal product development and R&D initiatives in close collaboration with the team.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, capable of independently managing tasks, generating innovative ideas, and proactively taking initiative, as we cultivate autonomy and personal freedom in our work environment.

Qualifications:

Must-haves:

- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python, TypeScript, or C#
- Solid knowledge of data and AI engineering, including Data Lakehouse architectures and LLMs
- Familiarity with Azure, Fabric, Databricks, and Power BI
- Proficiency in CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub
- Fluent English for active participation in daily work and projects
- Doctoral or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Nice-to-haves:

- Experience with n8n and/or LangChain
- Relevant professional certifications
- Familiarity with EU-funded projects
- Active contributions to open-source projects
- Proficiency in an additional European language, preferably German
