They are hiring an Engineering Manager to lead their core Trading & Pricing domain, a business critical area responsible for the technology behind trading, pricing models, liquidity integrations and high volume financial products.This role replaces a long standing manager and offers significant influence over the future of the trading platform.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage and develop a team of 12-15 backend engineersOwn engineering delivery across trading systems, pricing engines and liquidity integrationsDrive architectural decisions for high volume, revenue generating FX productsCollaborate closely with Product, Engineering Directors and senior leadership on long term strategyEnsure the resilience, accuracy and performance of trading and pricing technologyRemain hands on enough to support the team when required (not a coding heavy role)Build a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, quality and continuous improvementRequirementsProven experience in FX trading, trading systems, pricing, or relevant financial/capital marketsStrong engineering leadership background (team management, coaching, hiring)Solid architectural and delivery management capabilityComfortable being hands on at times while operating at a strategic levelAbility to work with cross functional stakeholders in a high xcskxlj stakes environmentExperience with Python and AWS is beneficial but not essentialWhat This Role OffersOwnership of a mission critical domain in a profitable and scaling fintechHigh visibility across the business; influence over trading and pricing strategy for the next 3-5 yearsOpportunity to progress toward Senior Manager and Director levelStable environment with the agility to innovate and shape new productsAnnual performance bonusComprehensive benefits package
