We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our dynamic finance team and support our mission of powering the world with renewable energy.


In this role, you main responsibilities will be managing a portfolio from an accounting perspective with the following tasks:

✅ Financial Record Keeping & Reporting: Manage bookkeeping, bank movements, loan registration, provisions, and periodifications, ensuring accurate monthly closing and the preparation of consolidated financial reports, including SASAC submissions.

✅ Intercompany & Asset Management: Reconcile intercompany balances and track assets, including derivatives and leasing, ensuring proper consolidation of intercompany transactions and alignment with financial standards.

✅ Financial Compliance & Audit: Prepare consolidated annual accounts, support audits, and ensure compliance with CNMC adjustments, SII regulations, and tax/financing standards.

✅ Budgeting & Approvals: Consolidate departmental inputs for budgeting, manage supplier and internal approvals, and collaborate with reporting teams to present consolidated financial data.

✅ Cross-Departmental Coordination: Facilitate communication across departments to ensure smooth financial operations, aligning consolidated data with organizational needs and processes.


Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • ️ Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Accountant, preferably in the energy sector or a similarly regulated industry.
  • ️ Intermediate to Advanced English language proficiency (B2-C1), Advanced Spanish language proficiency (C1-C2), both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.


Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working with SAP Accounting modules.
