We are seeking a visionary and hands-on technical leader to join us as Co-Founder and CTO

As part of a startup revolutionizing the future of Human Resources through Artificial Intelligence, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our technology strategy.

The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrated experience in building and scaling AI-powered SaaS products, and a successful track record in leading and growing high-performing technology teams.

The core areas you will concentrate on are:Strategy & Leadership:
  1. Define and execute the technology strategy aligned with HawkAI's overall objectives.
  2. Lead the development and implementation of the technology roadmap to drive growth and scalability.
  3. Build, lead, and motivate the tech team, fostering a high performance culture.
  4. Optimize the use of technical, human, and financial resources to maximize efficiency.
  5. Manage the infrastructure budget to ensure responsible use of company resources.
  6. Help create technical IP and barriers to entry to enhance HawkAI’s competitive positioning.
Product & Technology Development:
  1. Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered modules, utilizing techniques such as ML, DL, MLOps, and Generative AI.
  2. Ensure solutions meet reliability, security, and compliance standards while designing robust, scalable, and secure architectures for production environments.
  3. Supervise cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, ensuring secure and efficient management.
  4. Define agile development processes and establish technical standards to ensure high-quality code and timely product delivery.
Collaboration & Cross-functional alignment:
  1. Collaborate closely with the CEO, product, and sales teams to align technology solutions with market needs and business goals.
  2. Collaborate across teams to provide technical insights that inform not only product strategy but also the selection of working tools and market solutions, driving feature development, operational improvements, and overall company strategy.
Who are we looking for:
  1. At least 7 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role, ideally in the B2B SaaS sector.
  2. You are able to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Great written and verbal skills in both Spanish and English are a must.
  3. You are a curious problem-solver who excels at understanding client needs and delivering cutting-edge technical solutions that meet market demands.
  4. You feel aligned with leadership by example, able to motivate, inspire, and create an inclusive and positive work environment for all.
  5. You embrace feedback as a valuable tool for continuous growth, both for yourself and your team, fostering a culture of improvement and collaboration.
  6. You are a team player who actively contributes to building a positive culture and a collaborative environment.
  7. You have empathy. You’re a good guy (that’s something really important and directly related to the success of our ventures).
  8. You are passionate about the Human Resources field and how technologies can enhance related processes.

Role Specifics:
  1. Start date: Early December 2024.
  2. 7+ years in software development; 2+ years in tech leadership (B2B SaaS preferred).
  3. Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  4. Proven expertise in AI technologies (ML, DL, MLOps, Generative AI).
  5. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and secure, scalable infrastructure.
  6. Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
