About the RoleThe Head of Business Development drives strategic partnerships, new revenue streams, and market expansion. This role identifies and executes high-impact opportunities to accelerate growth in a competitive fintech landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesSet and lead the business development strategy aligned with company vision and growth objectives.Identify, evaluate, and negotiate partnerships with financial institutions, tech platforms, vendors, and enterprise clients.Build long-term strategic alliances that deliver incremental revenue, enhanced product value, or distribution channels.Lead market research to identify verticals and geographies with highest opportunity potential.Create business cases, forecasts, financial models, and presentations for executive stakeholders.Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to onboard partners and deliver integrated solutions.Track performance of partnerships and optimize terms / engagement models over time.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and with key stakeholders.Requirements5+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial roles (ideally fintech, banking, or payments).Proven track record of high-value partnerships and revenue growth.Strong negotiation and deal structuring expertise.Commercial mindset with analytical capabilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Fluency in English and Russian is required.
