We are working exclusively with a leading global player in the industrial materials sector to appoint a Sales Manager for their expanding commercial team in Spain. This newly created role is a key part of the company's strategic push to diversify and capture new growth opportunities, particularly in the construction sector and adjacent industrial applications. The successful candidate will have a direct impact on business development and revenue growth, shaping sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the product portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team, contributing to the transformation of the company's sales approach. The Sales Manager will work closely with internal teams and customers to drive new business, strengthen existing relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of projects in line with customer requirements. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop Sales Strategies: Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to drive growth in the construction sector and other industrial markets such as agro-food, raw materials, and powder-based products. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring their satisfaction and the successful delivery of products and services. Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new opportunities, expanding the company's product applications into new markets. Sales Execution: Oversee all stages of the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring strong results through effective pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and customer support. Field Work: Conduct customer visits, engaging with customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and support product development. Collaboration: Work closely with operations, technical teams, and other commercial teams to ensure the seamless delivery of services and products, and to address customer requirements promptly.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 5+ years of experience in B2 B sales, with a strong background in industrial applications, construction, or materials sectors. Proven track record of successfully developing new business and managing key accounts in B2 B sales environments. Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written) and proficiency in English for communication with international stakeholders. Strong ability to build customer relationships, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a hunter mentality for identifying new opportunities and driving growth. Ability to manage complex sales cycles, from lead generation to closing, while aligning strategies with long-term business goals.Skills & CompetenciesExcellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong strategic thinking and the ability to adapt to new industries and customer needs. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and take ownership of a sales portfolio. Capable of thinking outside the box, offering creative solutions to customer challenges, and identifying new applications for existing products. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) to meet customers, attend trade shows, and collaborate with internal teams.We look forward to receiving your application.
