Siemens Rail Automation as a leader in state-of-the-art technology for the Railway Signalling sector, continues to develop products and solutions for the satisfaction of its customers and that is why for the R&D Dept. we would like to get on board a R&D Railway ITV Engineer Main Line projects.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Integration, test and validation engineer in R&D department.
- Design and test verification for the ERTMS/ECTS L2 trackside system.
- Specification, execution and test analysis for the system integration in laboratory environment.
- Specification, execution and black box testing on both pc based and target environment.
- Development and updating of auxiliary software tools to meet the project needs.
- Maintenance of the configuration control and of the traceability of the different elements throughout the lifecycle of the product.
- International and multidisciplinary team working.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably in electrical / electronic).
- At least 2 years' experience as tester or integrator.
- Knowledge of programming languages: python, C++ or ADA.
- Knowledge of requirement management tools (as DOORS).
- Knowledge of Jira, GitLab, Confluence and agile methodology.
- Signaling knowledge: ERTMS L2.
- Knowledge on CENELEC standards for RAMS EN50126, EN50129, EN50128, EN50159 will be appreciated.
- Strong self-motivated person with natural focus on target achievements.
- High level of communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent English.
- Self-confident, proactive, analytical thinking.
