MPS is seeking an energetic, efficient, self-motivated and resourceful team player to be a member of its accounting staff supporting our European subsidiaries.

The AP Accountant reports to Accounting Manager and will be based in Barcelona, Spain.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. AP / AR processing for SW and other EU entities
  2. Data Entry – Processing of invoices
  3. Reconciliation of purchase invoices with purchase orders
  4. Resolve payment issues and answer payment questions from company vendors
  5. Account reconciliation and help with month-end processes
  6. Customs clearance answering to document requirements from authority
  7. Goods/Service receipt + delivery notes verification
  8. Organizes courier deliveries end to end including documentation
  9. Supports purchase requisitions for operations, facilities and Admin
  10. Supports expense reports review
  11. Ad-hoc projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. BS/BA in business, accounting, administration or related field
  2. 3-5 years’ experience
  3. Intermediate knowledge of Excel
  4. Fluent in Spanish, English (C1) and German
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  6. Excellent analytical and organization skills
