Barry Callebaut Iberica is looking for a temporary Segment Marketer

Is a temporary contract (6 months) to cover a maternity leave.

Within the push-pull strategy the segment trade marketer is responsible for the execution of the relevant trade marketing activity to support sales grow within the segment

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute annual activity and promotional plan for Horeca for distributors, chains and end users
  • Suggest marketing budget to implement activity plan
  • Lead new product launch efforts in segments including communication strategy, merchandising procurement, training tools and related activities
  • In alignment with sales and Chocolate Academy define application concepts and campaigns for end users
  • Define of a value proposition for the related segments in alignment with brand positioning and RTM
  • Pre and post-launch analysis to drive improvement in the segments
  • Align trade marketing communications strategies with regional and brand strategies and adapt global/regional tools to local market needs.
  • Secure the proper brand positioning in local Fairs & Events participation
  • Implement digital campaigns to improve digital brand awareness and leads
  • Support Head of Trade Marketing by providing major insight of the segments to secure effective strategy across all segments
  • Track market and segment trends and adjust strategies accordingly;
  • Analyze and report progress against campaign goals and report on ROI;
  • Monitor and analyze competitive activities within segment including price, promotion, new products introductions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in trade marketing/ segment or channel marketing within the Horeca segment or Food industry
  • Very strong "can-do" approach, detailed oriented organizer, capable of working autonomously;
  • Ability to work efficiently under the time-pressure;
  • Detail oriented with excellent administrative skills;
  • Good communications and presentation skills. Skillful in communication on an executive level;
  • Team player, enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • University degree in Marketing or BA
  • Advanced English in speaking, reading and writing. Spanish is a must
  • Digital acumen
  • Perfect MS Office knowledge and used to work with CRM (sales force preferred)
