MISSION:

As the Head of Technology for the International Markets platform, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Technology strategy to support our entities' business objectives aligned with AXA Group Standards.

You will lead a talented team of senior IT professionals ensuring the effective management of legacy systems and technical debt, also running a proper IT architecture governance, performing a pivotal role in the adoption of new technology and data solutions, shaping our cloud strategy and overseeing its successful adoption across multiple regions.

A strong understanding of IT financials will be crucial as you will be responsible for understanding and assessing the right level of IT investments across our countries.

Furthermore, you will be tasked with supporting the definition and creation of the required IT organization teams and processes in each country, ensuring that the right talent and structure are in place.

You will work closely with cross-functional and Businesses teams and great communication skills will be essential as you will be required to effectively communicate IT concepts and insights to diverse stakeholders across multiple regions.

PRIMARY RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Lead the management of legacy systems and technical debt, ensuring efficient and cost-effective solutions to modernize and optimize our IT infrastructure.
  • Drive the adoption of new tech, data solutions and cloud technologies, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness across diverse international geographies and specific local contexts (regulation, local constraints, etc).
  • Support the execution of the main Business transformation initiatives ensuring the right IT Architecture foundations are in place and aligned with group and local Enterprise Architectures.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and data teams to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency through technology, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technological excellence.
  • Manage and inspire senior IT team members, providing strategic direction, coaching, and mentorship to drive high performance and collaboration. Promote best practice sharing, identify potential opportunities for scalability and reuse, and animate the Technology / IT professional family across International Markets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external technology partners and vendors to support the company's IT initiatives and drive technological innovation.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in technology and identify opportunities to apply emerging technologies to drive business value.

PROFILE:

Eduacation:

  • Master's degree in technology, computer science or equivalent experience (+10 years).
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to effectively collaborate and communicate with international leadership teams and stakeholders.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role with a focus on international markets, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Extensive experience working in technology and/or business roles within a company with a solid understanding of technology.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT strategy development including legacy system management, cloud technology adoption, with a track record of driving technological transformation and innovation.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services, with experience in leveraging cloud resources for data and AI applications, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Skills:

  • Experience in managing senior IT team members within an international organization.
  • Promote transformation and adaptation to a fast-moving environment.
  • Demonstrated expert judgment with the ability to quickly identify, analyze, evaluate and resolve problems at the local/regional/international level.
  • Ability to work in diverse, cross-functional and business teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills are crucial for this role, as effective leadership and collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders are essential for driving successful technology strategy implementation and innovation across our international operations.
  • Superior presentation skills, including storytelling and other techniques to guide and inspire
