Conducts maintenance of the building, grounds and physical plant, cleanliness of guest rooms, public space, recreation and laundry. Responsible for maintaining standards and regulatory requirements.
CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED; 1 year experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing. OR
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; no experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIESSupporting Engineering and Housekeeping Operations

  • May participate in developing project plans in accordance with renovation or new construction needs.
  • Assists in the implementation of preventative maintenance and asset protection plan.
  • Assists with managing the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems in accordance with brand Standard Operating Procedures.
Maintaining Property Standards

  • Assists with managing and controling heat, light and power.
  • Assists with maintenance of propertys life safety systems (e.g., fire fighting equipment, sprinkler systems, alarm systems).
  • May serve as a contact in regard to all hotel emergency procedures, equipment and alarms.
Participating in team communications and achievement of departmental goals

  • Participates in on-going communication in areas of Engineering and Housekeeping.
  • May communicate critical information to Engineering and Housekeeping leadership teams.
  • Works towards achieving departmental goals to produce desired results.
Providing Exceptional Customer Service

  • Strives to improve service performance
  • Sets positive example for coworkers by providing excellent customer service
  • Manages day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.
