Tasks

Oversee key financial processes, including cash accounting, cash forecasting, local tax leases, and revenue recognition
Support HR with financial requests (advances, severance, garnishments)
Ensure compliance with VAT obligations
Supervise the AP team on booking accuracy, system management, tax compliance, and timely payments
Manage client relationships, including access management, payment execution, and overdraft facilitation
Prepare and present financial data for auditor reviews
Perform high-level balance sheet reconciliations
Participate in accounting automation projects and cost accounting alignment
Assist the Spain Chief Accountant with process and control improvements
Collaborate across the organization's structure

Requirements

Business Administration Bachelor or similar with accounting experience
Sophisticated skills with the Microsoft Package
Confident working with a large amount of data
Knowledge of differences between US GAAP and Spanish GAAP
High level of analytical skills with strong attention to detail
True team player with the ability to work autonomously
Prior experience in a multinational environment
ERP Oracle and Hyperion Planning experience is a big plus
