Data & Analytics forms a specialized business unit within Oliver Wyman, established in 2017 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and later expanding across Europe, including Milan, Berlin, Madrid, and Greece. This practice consists of a vibrant, rapidly growing team of quantitative analytics specialists. We collaborate closely with our colleagues across Oliver Wyman to cater to a global clientele spanning various industries such as Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, and Transportation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Working with your project team, you will collaborate with colleagues of all levels and clients globally to solve complex problems and instigate meaningful changes.
- You will acquire our fundamental business skills, including structuring your daily tasks efficiently.
- Your responsibilities will encompass developing hypotheses, managing data collection, creating models and analyses, conducting primary and secondary research, addressing information constraints creatively, presenting insights, and supporting project deliveries.

WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR IN APPLICANTS
- Candidates should be in their ultimate or penultimate year of study in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering with a strong quantitative focus.
- We seek individuals who are enthusiastic about operating in an entrepreneurial setting geared towards making a measurable impact.
- Proficiency in analysis, documentation, and communication is essential.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python/R/SAS and experience with databases (SQL) is preferred.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to set timelines is crucial.
- Applicants should demonstrate a knack for devising innovative, practical, and adaptable solutions to business challenges.
- Strong presentation skills are vital for effectively conveying results, identifying potential issues, and outlining implications.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English languages (oral and written) is required.
- Capable of managing a demanding workload and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Respect for confidentiality and the capacity to uphold it.
- Willingness to undertake occasional travel.
- Must be a resident of the EU or possess the right to work in the EU.
- An internship agreement with the college is mandatory.
