WHAT IS THE DIGITAL AND ANALYTICS PRACTICE?
Data & Analytics constitutes a specialized business division within Oliver Wyman, founded in 2017 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and has since expanded throughout Europe, encompassing Milan, Berlin, Madrid, and Athens. The practice comprises a dynamic, rapidly growing team of quantitative analytics experts. We collaborate closely with our colleagues across Oliver Wyman to extend our reach globally, working across various sectors such as Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, and Transportation.
Clients engage our services for our profound insights and expertise, which stem from our specialization. We merge analytical rigor with an unwavering emphasis on client impact.
We are seeking Analysts and Senior Analysts interested in pursuing a career in quantitative analytics.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Manage the execution of individual project workstreams, involving developing hypotheses, overseeing data collection, model creation and analyses, conducting primary and secondary research, creatively addressing information limitations, and unveiling insights.
- Support our Partner group in project delivery through precise and high-quality execution.
- Receive training and guidance from a prestigious consulting firm while also being part of an ambitious start-up.
- Prioritize flexible working arrangements and leading work-life balance.
- Opportunities for travel, split approximately 50% of the time spent on client site versus off site, with consideration given to individual needs when assigning offsite versus onsite roles.
- Our Team will benefit from comprehensive training, surpassing the standard for an Oliver Wyman consultant.

WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR IN APPLICANTS?
- Previous work experience:
- Minimum of 3 months relevant experience for an Analyst role
- 2+ years' experience for a Senior Analyst role
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline, preferably Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering with robust quantitative applications.
- Proficiency in analysis, documentation, and communication.
- Proficient in Python/R/SAS programming languages and skilled in database utilization (SQL).
- Ability to collaborate effectively and harmoniously within a team.
- Demonstrate independence and the ability to work under minimal supervision while adhering to defined timelines.
- Possess a knack for devising innovative, pragmatic, and adaptable solutions to business challenges.
- Deliver results, potential issues, and implications effectively.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
- Capable of managing a substantial workload and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Respect and maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to travel on occasion.
