WE COUNT ON OUR TEAMMATES TO:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, from a sincere greeting to efficient checkout.
  • Bring out the best in each customer by suggesting suitable footwear and clothing.
  • Share their knowledge and appreciation of our products.
  • Stock, organize, and clean the store.
  • Work both front and back of the store as needed.

YOU WILL BE A TOP CANDIDATE IF YOU ALSO HAVE:

  • Previous work experience (preferred, not mandatory), especially in a customer-facing role.

Purpose of Role

The warehouse assistant helps achieve sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) by ensuring efficient and effective flow of goods from the warehouse to the sales area to optimize sales potential. This position reports to the store manager and is responsible for following all standard operating procedures in the warehouse (as described in the sales operations manual/SOP) and meeting brand standards for shipments, processing, restocking, discounts, goods, and cyclic inventory. The warehouse assistant assumes the responsibilities of the sales specialist in their absence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales and omnichannel

  • Provide direct assistance to athletes in sales to achieve the established sales KPI goals set by the store manager.
  • Respond to omnichannel requests following UA procedures and policy through a digital experience.

Brand image and customer experience

  • Exemplify UA's service culture and meet customer expectations.
  • Communicate the brand message following UA's service model when assisting athletes.
  • Incorporate product knowledge into the sales process through received training.

Store functions

  • Adhere to standards related to merchandise and product setup.
  • Comply with UA policies and procedures.
  • Complete operational and cash processes (manual or systematic) as trained.
  • Adhere to Under Armour's dress code and attendance policies.
  • Work scheduled hours in accordance with Under Armour's attendance policy.

Team collaboration and personal development

  • Collaborate with the rest of the staff to achieve store goals.
  • Take responsibility for personal development and seize opportunities for personal growth to enhance performance.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced knowledge of arithmetic, reading, writing, listening, and communication.
  • Fluency in the local language.
  • Expert use of computers and other technological devices.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills and ease of teamwork.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with a fast pace.

COMMON REQUIREMENTS:

  • 0-3 months of experience in sports, clothing, or footwear stores.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends to meet business needs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to move or relocate products up to 12 kg.
  • Ability to move for extended periods to handle products, with short breaks.
  • Ability to independently access all areas of the store, including sales areas, the warehouse, and cash registers.
  • Reasonable accommodation to help fulfill basic responsibilities.
