Seller is central to the user journey and to our mission of making second hand the norm.
Empowering 100M+ monthly listings across markets is no small task and this is the opportunity for an enthusiastic Product Director to expand our user base and enhance the experience of our 19M+ users by prioritising ease, intuitive and innovative experiences to leverage the largest catalogue of second-hand items in the south of Europe, and the convenience and safety of our platform. Seller lives to maximise economic opportunity for individuals, micro-businesses and professional users and needs a passionate Product leader to reach its full potential.
What You Will Do
Spearhead the identification and pursuit of product opportunities enhancing the seller experience to drive company growth and market differentiation.Recruit, nurture, and empower a dynamic team of product professionals across various disciplines, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Define outcome-driven product goals and visionary roadmaps, leveraging experimentation and rapid iteration to validate, prototype, and refine new concepts, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.Drive cross-functional execution and collaboration, orchestrating seamless partnerships across functions to swiftly add value to our users and iterate towards optimal market fit.Lead the charge in prioritizing customer-centricity, fostering a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors within your teams, and translating these insights into actionable strategies that elevate user experience, foster product adoption, and cultivate community loyalty.Advocate for the seller and generate alignment across stakeholders, effectively communicating the product vision, roadmap, and value proposition to inspire confidence and support for the initiatives you'll be leading.
What We're Looking For
Extensive experience leading high-performing product teams in an agile set up, driving strategic development and growth.Demonstrated success in crafting product strategies for large-scale platforms in complex, cross-functional environments.Proficient in leveraging advanced technologies like generative AI and machine learning to foster innovation and drive business impact.Strong mentoring and coaching abilities to nurture talent and enable teams to excel and grow.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to drive value-driven outcomes through both quantitative and qualitative insights, while leading strategic initiatives and influencing organizational direction.
Do note that all our jobs are Barcelona based. We work in a mostly remote capacity offering great flexibility to our employees, but we believe in the power of getting together regularly in our office. As a first iteration, we expect a 4+ day/month office attendance for which the specifics are decided on a team level.

What does the hiring process for this position look like? **Please, note that all interviews take place remotely over hangouts.**
Intro Call - run by talent acquisition, focus on providing more information about the role and the company as well as going over your experience, motivation, and expectations. This usually takes 45-60 minutes.
Leadership Interview - run by the hiring manager, focus on leadership and/or management skills aligned with the role requirements. This usually takes 45-60 minutes.
Case Study Submission - you will be assigned a task to submit within 5 up to 7 days where you will be able to showcase your expertise / technical skills required for the role.
Expertise Interview - run by the hiring team, focus on the required core skills and the ability to deliver in a given context. This usually takes 60-90 minutes.
Stakeholder Interview - run by relevant stakeholders reflecting the reality of the context of the role, focus on the ability to collaborate & deliver in a cross-functional set-up. This usually takes 60 minutes.
Culture Interview - run by culture interviewers, focus on adherence to Wallapop's purpose and business proposition. This usually takes 60 minutes.
Offer - should you be the right candidate, your offer will be discussed over a call with talent acquisition and will then be confirmed in writing.
