Offer Description

Line of research: L3. Jets and observables in QCD sensitive to out-of-equilibrium dynamics of the specific research programme "Theory and Phenomenology of Particles, Astroparticles, Fields and Strings Group.
Indefinite-term contract for scientific and technical activities, pursuant to article 23 bis of Law 14/2011, of June 1, on science, technology and innovation.
Numerical implementation of in-medium jet evolution equations. Calculation of jet observables and comparison with experimental data. Communication of results in conferences and scientific publications.

Scientific publications in hot and dense QCD: 25 points
Presentations at national and international conferences in the field of QCD at finite temperatures and densities.: 20 points
Personal interview. Only the candidates with at least 50 points on the other merits will be interviewed: 25 points

Benefits

Gross monthly salary: 2.209,00 €
This contract will be assigned a project allowance of 450,00 € per month during its period of association with the activity 2018-PI131 "Yoctosecond imaging of QCD collectivity using jet observables (YoctoLHC)"
Full time (35 hours per week) 09:00-13:00 and 15:00-18:00 h.
