The Opportunity

Position: Quality Intern - Madrid

Important: Daily activities take place in the office. No plant visit.

You will learn to:

  • Provide support to the local Quality Manager for compliance with Abbott/ ADC Commercial Quality System (QS) and local laws and regulations.
  • Provide support to Quality System effectiveness through implementation and maintenance of respective procedures and processes.

Main tasks include:

  • Contributes to the implementation and maintenance of an effective ADC EMEAP Quality System / Multisite Integrated Management System (MIMS) by taking responsibility for:
  • Supports internal and external audits.
  • Supports Affiliate Quality System processes: e.g. management reviews, supplier / warehouse / distributor control, CAPA, Field Action, Quality Hold, Promotional Material controls, document control and record keeping.
  • Supports implementation of local quality procedures
  • Monitors and tracks Affiliate QS activities.
  • Supports QS training programs to ensure all relevant employees are trained and records maintained.
  • Supports commercial organization regarding quality matters, e.g. launch/commercial projects.
  • Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with applicable quality system and (local) regulatory requirements.
  • Supports medical event reporting, and field actions in close cooperation with PQA, Customer Service, Regulatory Affairs and Vigilance/ MEG.
  • Participates / supports Quality System improvements and implementation projects, e.g.: Champions/ SME program.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in science (biology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, medical technology, pharmacy, pharmacology...).

Background

  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate within internal and external stakeholders.
