Key Responsibilities:

Integrated into the AMS department and reporting to an AMS Team Manager, the Senior SAP HCM PY Consultant is responsible for supporting our outsourced SAP customers:

  • Provide application support consultancy through advice, guidance, and relevant technical activities
  • Manage simple tickets after receiving functional analysis and guidance on the technical implementation
  • Create easy-to-maintain, bug-free code and customization following Alight's best practices
  • Conduct required system tests using provided or self-generated test data to ensure compliance with agreed specifications
  • Document issues handled (technical and functional)
  • Manage personal daily priorities, assigned tickets, and meet deadlines. Regularly update the Team Manager on progress
  • Maintain effective communication channels internally and externally. Provide updates on issue status, resolution, and root cause
  • Understand HR processes and SAP HR architecture

As a senior team member, coaching tasks for junior agents and being a subject matter expert on French legal changes and PY in SAP are also part of the role.

What we ask for:

  • Bachelor or Master degree with a Business or Technical focus, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in French, with English proficiency as a bonus
  • In-depth knowledge of French payroll and SAP PY solution
  • Prior experience in SAP HCM application maintenance
  • Passion for delivering high-quality HR support
  • Ability to multitask, thrive in a dynamic environment, and consistently deliver quality results
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
