Senior Full-Stack DeveloperWe are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer (m/f/d) for the chapter 'Sales Property Insurance'.We develop and are responsible for our own web applications, platforms and APIs for pricing, consulting and selling insurance products for our customers and sales partners.

The ideal candidate should be a very experienced full-stack software developer in the field of web applications with several years of practical experience with frontend and backend technologies, and well versed in software development processes, software architectures, build procedures and CI/CD.

You Will

  • You and your team are responsible for the design, implementation and operation of digital products.
  • You and your team implement user stories according to the 'Definition of Done' in an agile team setup.
  • You carry out structured analyses, discuss the architecture and ensure 'clean code'.
  • You ensure that non-functional requirements such as IT security, operability, stability, expandability, etc. are taken into account.
  • You support in the maintenance of the applications

Your Skills Technical Skills:

  • Successfully completed (business) computer science degree or comparable training/qualification.

Frontend:
Experience in Angular frontend framework and other web development technologies like HTML 5, Type Script, CSS...

Backend:
Experience with Java with Springboot, good knowledge of API architectures as well as knowledge of the relevant standards and patterns (REST)

DevOps:
Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker,...

Testing:
Very good knowledge of Unit Testing and CI/CD workflows.

  • Ideally, experience in the insurance field.
  • Ideally, experience in using monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana or Prometheus

Methodological knowledge:

  • Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery.
  • DevOps mindset (you build it, you run it; taking responsibility for your work).
  • Knowledge of agile development methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).

Soft Skills:

  • English language skills at least C1, German Skills are a big plus.
  • Team player, solution oriented, learner.
