  • Defining internal requirements derived from the Design Verification Plan from customer specification.
  • 3D modelling of components/assemblies and their corresponding drawings (also for PCBs).
  • The engineering Bill of Materials fulfilment.

  • Mechanical Workbook Analysis: big summary of the whole project.
  • Material Release Assessment for subcomponents materials.
  • Scope's definition of dimensional inspection reports and their analyses.
  • Engineering Design reviews.
  • Development with continuous focus on cost.
  • New components registration on PDM/PLM ecosystem.
  • Contribute to knowledge platform. Lessons learnt writing, supporting DMFEA, 8Ds processes.
  • The search of new components, materials, technologies, processes and suppliers that will help MAHLE become better and improve the product's quality.
  • Accepting/rejecting deviations from dimensional reports.
  • Defining required tool modifications as well as the customer interface's derogations/changes for dimensional and tolerancing reasons.
  • Following up on customer's interfaces for project status with suppliers.

What skills do you need?

  • Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electro-mechanics or Aeronautics Engineering.
  • 4+ years in an automotive and multi-disciplinary environment.
  • 3+ years dealing with suppliers of the automotive sector.
  • 3+ years dealing with validation processes driven by the customer and internal requirement as well as their definition.
  • 4+ years of design to cost focus but quality-centric, handling the uncertainty and bring it to fruition.
  • 4+ years of manufacturing processes experience.
  • Exceptional GD&T knowledge.
  • Simulation basic and material behaviour advance knowledge.
  • Multiple-interface stack-up tolerance analyses: with Cm, Cmk, Cp, Cpk or Montecarlo's method, gaussian distribution...
  • Predict, understand and prevent issues in products by doing simply simulations, calculation sheets, ability to foresee future complications.
  • Mechanical ASPICE projects within the EV/BEV segment and worldwide OEMs.
  • Great knowledge on corrosion effects on soldering spots, screws and intermetallic components.
  • Familiar with electronics/mechatronics manufacturability.
