About Ibis Barcelona Meridiana

The Ibis Barcelona Meridiana is conveniently located just a 7-minute walk from the L1 metro line, providing easy access to Barcelona's most iconic landmarks. The hotel is situated 8 km from Barcelona Sants train station and 20 km from Barcelona El Prat airport.

As the General Manager of the hotel, your key responsibilities will be:

Serve as the primary strategic business leader, overseeing hotel operations to achieve customer satisfaction (guests, employees, corporate, and owner) and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals. Ensure the highest quality of service, embodying the Ibis brand ethos. Optimize RevPar through effective management of various sales channels. Lead the team by exemplifying the Heartist spirit. Guarantee the quality of Accommodation & Catering offerings. Implement and monitor procedures to ensure proper standards are maintained. Uphold labor relations, health, and safety standards. Represent ACCOR and the hotel owner in all relevant matters.

Qualifications

Proven experience in the Hospitality industry. Strong customer orientation, commitment, and emotional intelligence. Serve as a point of reference and credibility for hotel staff and stakeholders. Solid managerial skills to unite the team around shared goals, focusing on quality and economic objectives. Fluency in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
