Job Description

We are seeking a talented Scala Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Scala Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our cloud-based platform, which empowers customers with comprehensive data analytics capabilities.

The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in Scala, Microservices, Akka, Kafka, NoSQL databases (Neo4j/Influx), Java and Terraform experience is a plus. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

  • Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Contribute to team initiatives and projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Experienced in Scala, Microservices, Akka, Kafka, NoSQL databases (Neo4j/Influx), (nice to have: Java, Terraform)
  • Python, AWS Cloud
  • Affinity for Data Analytics
  • Pro-active personality
  • Fluent in spoken English
