As operators focus on delivering unforgettable experiences, Palisis empowers them with a comprehensive technology backbone, from booking to boarding.As a Senior Java Developer, you'll enjoy a unique opportunity to make a real impact by enhancing, developing, and innovating our suite of products.Position & ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Java Developer at Palisis, your key responsibilities include:Crafting clean, scalable and efficient codeActively participating in sprint planning and retrospective meetingsContributing to the continuous improvement of our product portfolioRequirementsRequirements (must-haves):Minimum Qualifications: High School or higherMinimum Experience: 5 years+ experience as a Java developerTechnical understanding: Strong expertise in Java, Spring, and HibernateMinimum Language Skills: Fluent in English and SpanishLocation: Spain (remote)Desirable Skills:Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and Javascript is a distinct advantageProficiency in Spring, Hibernate, MySQL, ActiveMQ, Git, and Angular is highly valuedExperience working with Jira and Agile methodology is a common way of collaborating with our teamFamiliarity with Scrum methodology is a plusKey AttributesCommunication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients from diverse backgrounds and educational levels. Fast problem-solving mentality to provide clients with the right solutions.Organisational skills: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple clients, on-site and off-site meetings, and deadlines.
