Orisha|Openbravo is looking for a highly experienced IT professional for the position of Infrastructure & Cloud Systems Administrator. The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration and security hardening of Ubuntu servers running Apache Server and Apache Tomcat; and the preparation of machine images on AWS and Azure for the provisioning of such servers.

Position Responsibilities

  • Define the optimal configuration of Ubuntu, Apache Server and Apache Tomcat for running Openbravo solutions
  • Ensure Openbravo server delivers optimal performance and provides adequate means of observability
  • Enforce best security practices on Openbravo servers in compliance with ISO 27001
  • Develop and evolve the Packer processes in charge of the recurrent generation of machine images for Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
  • Support the Infrastructure and Cloud Evolution team in the development of automated procedures for the provisioning of Ubuntu servers

Position Requirements

Must :

  • 4 years experience working with Ubuntu Linux (server) as a System Administrator (or other Debian based distributions)
  • Tomcat Application Server
  • Apache2 Server
  • Java installation and configuration
