Data Center Security Specialist

Amazon Web Services is seeking a talented Data Center Security Specialist to join our team in Zaragoza. This is an exciting opportunity for a security professional to manage the day-to-day physical security operations of our data centers.

About Us

We continue to grow at an exponential rate, and we're looking for bright and driven individuals who want to grow with us. Our AWS Infrastructure Services team owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Direct and manage contract guard force to run daily data center operations
  • Provide guidance and leadership to contract security provider personnel
  • Evaluate the contract security provider performance and service delivery
  • Foster working relationships to educate data center stakeholders on false alarm reductions
  • Verify Data Center security programs are delivered to meet defined global security standards
  • Assist in media integrity related Programs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience within a similar role in the public or private security industry
  • 2+ years of experience using data and metrics to improve processes and/or customer satisfaction
  • A Professional Identity Card (TIP) as security director qualification or ability to obtain one
  • A Habilitacion Personal de Seguridad (HPS) or the ability to obtain one
Preferred Qualifications

We also look for candidates with:

  • Experience managing contract guard force
  • Training on data analysis and visualization systems such as Microsoft PowerBI or equivalent
  • Experience working in a mission critical environment, such as a Data Center
