Your RoleA Head of Estimating is responsible for overseeing the estimation process for projects related to renewable energy production, storage, and distribution with a customer/opportunity centric perspective.

This role involves analysing project requirements, developing cost estimates, and ensuring accuracy in project budgeting, with a focus on sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions.

The Head of Estimations collaborates with cross-functional teams, interfaces with clients,

and plays a key role in decision-making processes specific to renewable energy projects, having a clear understanding of action/reaction effects and ensuring effective management of future cost uncertainty.

ResponsibilitiesEnergy yield, CAPEX and OPEX cost estimations for commercial proposals:
Accurate cost estimations are considered for commercial proposals and financial modelling. Engineering and EPC teams towards a opportunity oriented estimation process.

Energy Finance:
Develop and refine financial models for renewable energy projects. Analyzing the financial viability of renewable energy projects, taking into account long-term sustainability.

Assessment:
Assess (with technical experts), the feasibility and cost implications of emerging renewable energy technologies. Incorporate advances in energy storage,
grid integration and smart technologies into project estimates

Considerations:
Integrate environmental and sustainability factors into project estimations. The life cycle analysis and carbon footprint in the estimation of renewable energy projects.

Compliance:
Informed about regulatory requirements and incentives related to renewable energy projects
