Aim of job:
Accelerate overall online sales growth profitably for J&J Consumer Health brands across the Southern Europe & France cluster driving operational excellence in support of profitable business growth and continue building connected commerce capabilities, ensuring the right Go to market, KPIs and processes.
Main accountabilities:
Business Unit Leadership
- Be the E-Commerce Leader and responsible on the Southern Europe & France Leadership Team + on the EMEA E-Commerce Leadership Team
- Drive the E-Commerce business strategy, implementation and partnership crossfunctionally for E-Commerce in the Cluster relating to commercial KPIs, supply chain, digital shelf and media with a focus on Pureplay, Brick & Click and Epharmacy
- Responsible for driving and embedding the E-Commerce Strategy within the organisation, to fit Southern Europe & France overall business objectives
Business Planning & Strategy:
- Create a Cluster strategy and roadmap with the countries and top tier customers stating a clear vision and mission aligned to the company roadmap and the cluster/ markets' strategic plan
- Executes customerspecific business plans aligned to customer and marketing strategies, translating brand objectives, and adapts to fit the nuances of local ecommerce markets
- Create the right tools, reports to monitor ongoing performance
- Ensures organizational setup and capabilities match the strategy
- Work with local counsel to ensure that the strategy and operations are 100% in compliance with J&J's code of business conduct, HCC requirements etc.
- Overall responsibility to deliver the financial commitment by month by quarter and full year;
- Support Local Markets on Annual / Adhoc Negotiations with Customers
- Full P&L accountability (Gross Trade Sales down to Operating Income)
- Deliver NTS$ target with a robust demand forecast aligned to the inventory goals and contractual agreements
- Build a solid business plan aligned to the marketing brand strategy and designed to deliver the correct GP and market share target by brand and category in the eCommerce channel
- Ensuring the J&J brand portfolio has the optimal coverage, pricing and distribution strategy
- Ensure that the digital shelf standards and must stock list are clearly articulated and executed by the retailers
- Ensuring that any operational efficiencies are maximized e.g. margins, carrying costs & infrastructure
360 Execution + Activation:
- Leadership and ownership of the full 360 activation of our brands on ecommerce, including Media & Digital Shelf
- Partner with the Cluster Media Team and Media agencies (Cluster level and local) to deliver all activations bestinclass according to their objectivet
- Track all KPIs + deliver improvements needed regarding the 6PAI KPIs
People Management:
- Management of a direct team focused on activation, commercial capabilities and new opportunities, data analysis, and indirect leadership for omnichannel talent located in the key markets
- Management and Leadership of the E-Commerce Cross-Functional Virtual Team
- Manage key stakeholders to ensure that they are aware of developments across all aspects of the business
- Engage the critical partner functions; supply chain, marketing, data and insights, finance, and shopper to ensure that you have a full cross functional plan with clear accountabilities and responsibilities with a unified goal
- Org chart management and development in line with individual team member + business objectives
Cross functional working:
- Lead the Cluster E-Commerce EndtoEnd Squad (Leadership team for the Ecommerce business in the cluster) to integrate crossfunctional partners to the channel + drive agile, impactful ways of working and collaboration
- Work as a key member of the customer and commercial function to share best practices and provide support to colleagues to improve business efficiency and growth
Qualifications
Education:
- University degree in Business administration or respective studies
- MBA degree a plus
Years of Industry Experience:
- 8+ years of eComm/Digital Experience and negotiation/ commercial experience with at least one ecommerce role
Languages:
- Excellent Verbal and written English skills, Spanish and French skills a significant plus
Other Job Specific Skills:
- Working in multifunctional crosscultural teams.
