Area Description

The TGS Business Development team focuses on accelerating the sales of Telefónica Products to the Top 160 MNC accounts and enterprises requiring multinational services. This team, reporting to the Global Director of Multinationals, supports various Sales Units across the organization. Responsibilities include aiding customers in digital transformation projects, enhancing partner relationships, launching commercial initiatives, and assisting in multinational deals. The team is structured by technology and region expertise, follows a consultative sales methodology, and utilizes a digital plan with key partners. Constantly seeking new solutions, the team promotes knowledge sharing to drive success and innovation within the unit.

Mission

As Partner Business Development Manager, you will drive Go-To-Market activities with a focus on key security partners. The role involves strategizing to boost business with technology, cloud, and security partners, as well as defining and executing Global GTM plans. Building strong relationships with MNC customers, partners, and internal teams is essential for success. Your goal is to penetrate strategic accounts, drive business growth, and establish a significant presence at the executive level.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand customer security and business needs, Telefónica and TGS portfolio, and partner solutions for a 3-Horizon roadmap.
  • Select strategic partners for global acceleration plans involving executive engagement and sales enablement.
  • Help customers grasp the impact of emerging technology and inspire them towards Telefónica and TGS services.
  • Create a long-term strategy connecting partners, customers, and TGS portfolio.
  • Lead security sales activities to drive digital transformation for customers.
  • Coordinate Telefónica parties to propose innovative solutions and address customer needs.
  • Strengthen relations with C-level technology executives in customer business units.
  • Participate in events and global meetings as a security products and partner knowledge reference.

Education Required

  • Engineering MSc (Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Information Technology) and Business, MBA, or Master in Digital Transformation.
  • Experience in technical/business consulting or consultative selling.
  • Knowledge of main security partners like Microsoft, Zoom, Palo Alto, and others.

Specific Skills

  • Experience in digital transformation and leveraging technology for business outcomes.
  • Experience in selling Technology, Cloud, and Security products and services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with multinational market experience.

Technical Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of communication services, telecom, Cloud, Sdwan, and Security services.

Professional Experience

  • 3+ years of business development/sales experience in security and IT sector.
  • Experience managing Global Accounts in Fortune 500 companies.

Languages

  • Fluent in English and Spanish, and proficiency in Portuguese, German, or French is a plus.
