Our accounting team is looking for a Junior Accountant Specialist to support our UK legal entity for a 6-month fixed-term contract.

You will report to Remy, our Global Head of Accounting, based in Barcelona.

What will I be doing? \uD83E\uDD14:

  • Set up payments in the bank for weekly driver payments, and supplier invoices.
  • Prepare and send the weekly data invoice file for £2m gross revenue.
  • Create all Corporate Clients' invoices in NetSuite (weekly process in the UK).
  • Send out all invoices and coupons (= client rebates).
  • Book client payments in NetSuite and monitor any discrepancies in remittance statements for our top clients.
  • Review the outstanding client debts and take action to ensure prompt collection of cash.
  • Create new customers on NetSuite.
  • Prepare and upload Inter-Company invoices.

What do we need from you? \uD83D\uDE0E:

  • Prior experience in the accounting and finance department, with exposure to an accounting ERP (ideally NetSuite).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment, with great communication and organization skills, as well as a teamwork spirit.
  • You are detailoriented and have great analytical skills.
  • High knowledge of Excel and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent written and oral language skills in English.
