Engineering Delivery Manager What this role is about? This role is situated within the Digital Technology Department, operating under the Business Technology Service for Marketing and Sales within the DIGITAL and IT function at JTI.

Specifically, the Digital Technology department, housed within the BTS M&S, plays a critical role in defining the scope and elucidating the digital technology and architecture strategy aligned with the business vision.

What will you do? Brings in-depth technical expertise in solution development Understanding of the business requirements and transferring them into project deliverables Assessing the technical requirements when selecting new solutions (focused on mobile apps)


Ensures that DIGITECH solutions align with the latest industry standards, technological trends, and best practices Enhancing the competitiveness and viability of the mobile app landscape Understanding of business requirements and ability to propose robust technical solutions Planning, organization and tracking of the delivery of Initiatives across cluster teams Ensuring the delivery of initiatives follows DES Engineering Standards and Practices Establish methods of data collection, (align sources, record or request recording relevant data from internal or external sources) Analyze risk, (build and update risk scenarios, estimate probability, estimate impact, define risk response strategies and measures) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define release scope, objectives, and timelines.

Develop and maintain a comprehensive release plan, including release schedules, milestones, and dependencies. Coordinate release activities, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned. Oversee the execution of release activities, including code deployments, configuration changes, and data migrations. What are we looking for? University degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a equivalent field of study 5+ years of experience in Delivery Management in large teams (25+ people) 5+ years of experience in an Mobile Engineering Leadership Role (Lead Mobile Application Engineer, Mobile Solution Architect, Team Lead, Tech Lead, Engineering Manager or similar role) 5+ years of experience in working with and be directly involved in the development of internet commercial solutions / platform ideally based on cloud providers / SaaS & multi-tenant and microservice based architecture Possess in-depth knowledge of the entire mobile application development lifecycle Practical working experience in managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for mobile application development projects and assessing technical solutions End-to-end delivery of mobile application development projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables Familiarity with software practices, both in the BUILD and RUN phases Experience working closely with leadership levels and cross-functional partners to influence key business decisions Proficiency in process improvement and implementation using lean methodologies as well as driving technical and business decisions Knowledge of data technologies and products is a plus Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills and strong stakeholder management skills Strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise, and a keen understanding of technology propositions in the mobile space What are the next steps – Recruitment Process:
