Position Overview

CRH is currently recruiting for a professional receptionist in our Madrid office, to join the Strategy, Innovation & Ventures team.

The role will provide office support to the Madrid office Paseo de la Castellana/Juan Bravo área (current office and new location) and will report to the Office Manager.

Time shift; Monday

  • Friday (09:00 18:00) or (10:00 19:00); Uniform is provided.
  • Responsible for covering the front desk of the Madrid Office
  • Proactive
  • Excellent IT Skills (Office pack)
  • Ability to learn quickly software such as our CRM systems, internet property portals
  • Organisational skills property database, as well as other supportive roles
  • Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for office access control
  • Welcoming office guests in a professional and friendly manner, announcing their arrival to the appropriate party and directing them to the person or office they are visiting
  • Answering the switchboard, answering queries and making phone calls on behalf of office employees
  • Forwarding phone calls to the appropriate recipients
  • Maintaining office supplies and placing orders when inventory is low
  • Scheduling appointments and meetings for employees and coordinating with clients regarding meetings
  • Sending and receiving post and other correspondence
  • Support when needed the Office Manager in terms of suppliers, invoicing and services as a backup
  • Meeting rooms:
  • Booking internal and external
  • Support and coordinate with the Office Manager the Madrid booking requests from other CRH offices.
  • Keep the meeting rooms tidy (though we have cleaning service)
  • Performing various other clerical tasks, as required
