External Audit Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Business Continuity Management:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain business continuity plans and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and critical processes.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure business continuity plans align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Test and update business continuity plans regularly, incorporating lessons learned from exercises and incidents.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on their roles and responsibilities during disruptions.
  • Monitor emerging threats and trends, adapting strategies as necessary to mitigate potential risks.

Incident Reduction:

  • Analyze incident data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement strategies to reduce the frequency and impact of incidents.
  • Establish incident response protocols and ensure their effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and support during incident response efforts, ensuring a coordinated and effective response.

SOC Audit Management:

  • Develop and maintain an audit management framework and schedule.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate SOC audit processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Review audit findings and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
  • Track and report auditrelated metrics and trends to senior management.

Continuous Improvement and Training:

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in business continuity, incident reduction, and audit management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance organizational preparedness and response capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, risk management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in business continuity management, incident reduction, and audit management.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST , and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments, business impact analyses, and developing business continuity plans.
  • Familiarity with incident management frameworks and incident response best practices.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify patterns, trends, and root causes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Professional certifications such as CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) are desirable.
