The Azure Could Lead is a pivotal role that blends market, sales and solutioning, people, and delivery excellence. This role owns the strategy that ensures the region Practice has the right capabilities to seize market advantage and is responsible for driving business growth, supporting sales development.

In addition to relationships with clients and the practice community, this role collaborates with business leaders in the region from other practices, Solution Areas (SA), Business Groups (BG), Integrated Go-to-Market (IGTM), Sales, Client Service Leads.
What you'll do
· Pro-actively work with Sales, Client Account, and Line of Business/Play Leads to identify, qualify, and prioritize opportunities that will drive additional sales and revenues.
· Provide support for sales development and closure including provision of insights, demonstrations, creation of proposals, delivery of client presentations and input into contracts.
· Provide expert solutioning support to assist with sales development/closure.
· Assist with the contextualization of the global go-to-market motions, e.g., Plays, so that they are relevant and have impact in the regional market.
· Sales and revenue targets for respective Solution Area.
· Drives Results, Ensures Accountability, Customer Focus.
Skills and experiences
Microsoft skills & Industry knowledge
· Strong Microsoft Azure knowledge in infrastructure and application resources in both IaaS and PaaS flavors: Virtual Machines, Storage, App Service, Functions, Batch, Automation, CDN, Caches, relational and non-relational databases, Site Recovery, backup, monitor...
· Strong skills in Azure networking: Virtual Networks, Gateways, Load Balancers, Express Route, Private Link, VPN, Front Door...
· Strong skills in Azure migrations for both, Lift & Shift and rehost/refactor strategies. Familiarity with Azure Migrate is expected.
· Governance in Azure via Policy, RBAC, Locks and Cost Management.
· Azure security services in all domains: identity (Azure AD), networking (NSG, ASG, Private Link, WAF, DoS protection), encryption (Encryption, Key Vault), SIEM (Sentinel)...
· Infrastructure as a Code via Azure Resource Manager or Terraform.
· Windows Server AND GNU/Linux system administrator skills.
· Scripting skills with PowerShell or GNU bash.
