As a Platform Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our AI platform infrastructure. You will work closely with the Platform Engineering Lead and cross-functional teams to build scalable, resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions. You key Responsibilities are:
- Participate in the design and development of infrastructure solutions tailored to the needs of our AI technology platform, ensuring seamless integration with multiple cloud environments and optimization for GPU-accelerated processing.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop backend services and APIs, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. Implement best practices for microservices architecture and containerization.
- Assist in managing and orchestrating workloads across multiple cloud providers, leveraging services and features to maximize reliability, scalability, and flexibility.
- Help implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to the implementation of automated testing, deployment, and monitoring practices to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our platform. Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development workflows and accelerate time-to-market.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.
- Proven experience in cloud platform engineering roles, with a focus on building infrastructure and backend services for cloud-based applications.
- Proficiency in managing AWS cloud (experience in other clouds like Azure is a big plus) and familiarity with cloud-native technologies and services.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code (IaC, Terraform). Familiarity with managing a DevOps organization and delivering DevOps tool chain and automation is a plus.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Go, along with experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues.
