As a Platform Engineer in Axpo Group's Cloud Platform team, you will help us work on challenging projects and solve difficult problems related to delivering high-quality software products to the energy industry.

You will help improve, deploy and operate sophisticated group-wide software products that support our employees in meeting the challenges of the energy transition.


What you will do:

  • Develop automation to deploy and manage compute resources in a multicloud and hybrid environment
  • Work iteratively on our cloud platform offering to add and improve services and capabilities which are shared among our Group
  • Closely collaborate with stakeholders to create highly scalable, operable and maintainable products
  • Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement

What you bring & who you are:

  • 5+ years of Systems Administration, Site Reliability Engineering, or DevOps experience with at least one cloud environment (Azure, AWS or GCP)
  • Handson system administration experience with Linux or Window
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other infrastructure automation tools
  • Experience in Bash, Python, and/or other scripting languages as well as CI/CD practices
  • Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of databases and data modeling
  • Practical knowledge of system architectures, networking and cloud security best practices
  • Ability to research, evaluate and propose suitable new technologies
