Job Overview TE Connectivity's Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects.

They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, Production, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule, and customer expectations.

They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to Lean PD processes.


What your background should look like:

ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain project scope throughout the project lifecycle, including initial setting of scope and scope change managementEstablish and maintain an accurate project schedule using Microsoft project or similar based on commitment from Core team members, customer, and all project stakeholdersManage project scope, schedule, and budget for projects within the assigned business segmentLead assigned Core Teams to achieve defined objectivesDevelop & manage projects plans and (as needed) gap closure plansFollow established Stage Gate processes and assure integrity of project deliverablesPlan & lead Stage Gate reviews to business segment managementUtilize enterprise level project systems to manage project plans, data, and actionsManage project capital budgets and assure execution in alignment with business unit financial planAssure projects are completed in accordance with business unit objectives for On-Time Delivery and QualityProactively identify & resolve risks & issues and establish escalation path on all projectsGenerate reports (standard and customized) related to project executionConduct status meetings with internal Core Team and external customersTrack project lessons learned and manage best practicesCommunicate frequently, clearly, concisely with the project team and all stakeholders including senior management Key QualificationsBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in related fieldA minimum of 7 years' experience in managing projects with new product development and/or sustaining project objectivesGeneral knowledge of Operations/Manufacturing processesExperience with LEAN development processes and gate milestone developmentPMI Certification would be desirableIndustry experience of the connector market would be desirableTravel domestic and international possible up to 25%Experiences & KnowledgeExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsCulturally aware and sensitiveExperience running global projects with virtual teamsStrong ability to set goals and lead and motivate team membersAbility to work within a cross functional team to customize variable reportsAbility to run multiple projects at the same time, global focusProactive, Resilient and Self-confident ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITYTE Connectivity is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
