About the Role:

To enhance our consulting team in Madrid, we seek a Risk Consultant with strong functional expertise, a keen interest in technology, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

About the Team:

Based in Madrid, our office is part of the Ambit Risk & Performance unit at FIS Capital Markets. We are a group of financial experts and talented software engineers working closely to deliver high-quality software solutions.

We offer the advantages of a robust global organization combined with the agility of small, dynamic teams operating under a flat hierarchy.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Provide consultancy in Asset & Liability Management, Liquidity Risk Management, and Market Risk for leading financial institutions in Iberia and Europe.
  • Analyze banking business, design solutions, manage projects, and ensure quality input.
  • Develop expertise in Risk Management, assist clients in various tasks, and deliver training sessions.
  • Manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, staying updated on the latest reporting requirements.

What You Will Bring:
  • Prior experience in areas like Risk Management, Treasury, ALM, or IT Consulting.
  • Strong analytical skills, creativity, and ability to handle project demands effectively.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and fluency in Spanish and English.

Added Bonus if You Have:
  • FRM/CFA or similar certifications
  • Experience in Banks, ALM, or Risk Management
  • Familiarity with FIS Balance Sheet Manager or similar solutions
  • Knowledge of French or German.
