Details of the assignment:
Dad is a busy professional who often travels for work, while Mum is a stay-at-home mum who is very hands-on and spends much time with the kids.
Therefore, it is essential that the Nanny-Governess is comfortable working alongside a parent and fully understands when to step in to provide help and when to step out to allow the family to bond.
The primary role of the Nanny-Governess is to provide a nurturing and loving environment for their daughter. The Nanny-Governess is expected to create and implement a structured routine through play, following the Waldorf method of education. The child is imaginative, enjoys playing pretend, loves arts and crafts, and spends much time outdoors. Therefore, the Nanny-Governess must be experienced in providing a stimulating and engaging environment for children of a similar age.
The Nanny-Governess will also handle typical nanny duties such as getting the kid ready for the day, assisting during meals, ensuring her bedroom and wardrobe are organised, and tidying up her play area.
As the family will spend plenty of time at the pool or beach, it is essential that the Nanny-Governess is a confident swimmer and has experience swimming with children.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a fulltime nanny/ governess
- Formal training and certification in Waldorf Education
- Strong and confident swimmer
- Other teaching and/or childcare qualifications (Desirable)
- Driving licence (Desirable)
Salary Estimate :5,000 EUR gross per month
