Reginal Training Manager for Europe South and America


Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE) is looking for a Regional Training Manager (M/F), based in Spain, responsible for the coordination of training activities in Europe South, North America and South America.

The main focus is to work with our partners and customers on training activities, planning and scheduling trainings based on market demand and assigning trainers to the different courses.


Responsibilities of the Reginal Trainings Manager:

  • Communicate and Launch the training strategy, offer, pricing, programs towards Customers and Internals, collect and generate the training demands in line with ALE strategy (Sales) and local/regional strategy-
  • Accountable for the quantity and quality of the training delivery in the Region for the Customers and get/relay information from/to central team (delivery, offer, operations, programms)-
  • Together with the Region management, ensure that training planning satisfy regional needs by defining a forecast template and implementing a forecast process with Sales.-
  • Provide means and plans to achieve the Certifications for Business Partners by working closely with the Channel Sales Manager on the Accreditation of the Business Partners.-
  • Support the Sales Activity by ensuring the readiness of the Business Partners and Customers on the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Portfolio in the Region.-
  • Interface between end customer and delivery team, fully rely on Education Delivery Team for Scheduling/Resources.-
  • Manage the relationship with Training Partners on a Activity-
  • Ensure that Training partners knows the processes to ensure Best in class delivery (lab location, scheduling constraints, trainers readiness ) and inform Education team about new TP contracts and specificities
Organize and validate contract reviews with Partners
Animate the Training Partners Network (offer, feedback)
Responsible of Quotation of TP student kits/ equipments
Manage the relationship with Training Suppliers Customer Commercial Offer pricing/quotations responsibility Supplier quotation approval Generation of Campains, Special and Specific Offers in the region Maintain feedback on new demands and tailor request to be integrated in our offer Be innovative on new way to differentiate our training offer Keep aware of our competitors training offers Create/manage customer satisfaction indicators Ensure end to end Project Management on Advanced Training Offer, relay Request of Extra or Specific discounts to Sales (pricing exception following Pricing/Discount rules and approbation flow) Pilote the Level 1 Education Customer Support agents Monitor the financial and activity results in the region, ensure the training delivery cost in the region is recovered/funded, follow up and communicate on activity/revenues with Regional Leaders Act as the escalation manager of Education in the regionQualifications of the Presales Engineer Network Infrastructure:
  • Master the Customer relationship
  • Customer Facing Strong Aptitude, Commercial Negociation Skills, Adaptability to work in multinational Environment (spoken languages (fluent english + otherother), Focus on Results and Innovativity, Excellent Verbal and writing Communication
  • Expertise in Education Offer and Learning Environment
  • Mastering ALE business model and associated process/needs and the ALE Solutions portfolio
  • Ability to Organize
  • Team work
  • Fluent written and spoken Spanish, English and German would be a great bonus
