Summary:


The Marketing Communications Manager supports the organization in the development and maintenance of branding initiatives in the digital, print and in-person space.

This role is responsible for maintaining our branding and design guidelines, supports the organization in the development of content design templates, and coordinates the company's sales meetings and attendance at trade shows.

The Marketing Communications Manager will also collaborate with internal stakeholders on managing internal communications, and publishing updates to our SharePoint sites.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the branding guidelines for Hyperion Materials & Technologies across print and digital platforms and supports with ensuring brand compliance for each of our subbrands.
  • Drives our branding and execution strategy for customerfacing materials to ensure a consistent and modern style across our platforms and business units. This includes brochure templates, PowerPoint templates, infographics, video and all other customerfacing tools.
  • Works with the Marketing Content Professionals to disseminate brand guideline changes and templates into the organization.
  • Acts as a critical reviewer for marketing content being developed to provide feedback for improving text/visuals and maintaining our brand value.
  • Develops and maintains a style guide for external content writing at Hyperion Materials & Technologies.
  • Manages our printed content stock and reprinting where necessary.
  • Manages the Hyperion Materials & Technologies promo item stock and store.
  • Manages the Hyperion Materials & Technologies presence at global trade shows when required.
  • Supports with the planning and execution of sales meetings and management meetings, including supporting with the selection of venues and onsite logistics.
  • Manages our relationship with translation agencies and oversees the translation/transcreation process for the business.
  • Coordinates work with any offsite marketing communications contractors where necessary, including graphic design professionals.
  • Works with key business stakeholders to define and execute quick responses to urgent (including crisis communications) as well as strategic topics, both internally and externally.
  • Leads the development of global communication templates that can be used across the business, including guidelines for written content, digital content and presented content.
  • Manages messaging related to the corporate sustainability program.
  • Supports the corporate HR function with internal messaging per their requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent English skills for reading and writing are a must.
  • Track record of success developing concise marketing communications.
  • Experience with design programs including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign, video editing experience would be beneficial.
  • Selfstarter, highly motivated with excellent businesswide communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience collaborating with various stakeholders in a global environment a plus with the ability to counsel and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Education and/or Work Experience:

  • BS/MS Degree in Marketing, Communication, Graphic Design or similar.
  • 35 years working in a marketing communication, marketing, event planning, graphic design or corporate communications role

Technical Skills/Physical Requirements:

  • PC/desk work including reading/typing. Ability to work flexible schedules/extended hours on occasion to collaborate with partners in the Americas and Asia.
  • About 10% travel is required for attendance at events or trade shows, and for venue scouting when necessary.
