Purpose of the function:


Lead the preparation of short and long term forecasts, managing Local and International Forecast Models, understanding international assumptions and localizing into country assumptions based on solid sources.

Lead the Alliance Forecast Process.

Plan and analyse market insights and CI needs to translate them into intelligence to assist the brand teams in the decision making process.

Responsible for the development and maintenance of the data model, combining data from different sources (CRM, other market data, Market research etc...) to drive commercial decision making.

Provide the management and account teams with relevant information, analysis and insight to enable an optimal diagnosis of the situation in each account, recommending appropriate action, monitoring account plans over time, tracking performance and forecasting return on investment (i.e. sales and activity).

Roles and Responsibilities:

1.
Supports Strategic planning for the portfolio**:

  • Lead sales forecasting process and financial exerciess.
Integrates the core implications into business planning and forecasting (volume and value).

  • Provides the Brand team with a clear overview of the market evolution and competitive landscape.
  • Support brand planning process through situational analysis, core implications of market evolution and competitor landscape, scenario planning and activity planning.
  • Be responsible for the provision of KPIs to aid and inform the Brand Team in Brand Planning and flawless performance execution.
  • Collaborate to converts this data into usable reports, dashboards, and customer engagement tools to deliver enhanced planning, and customer engagement.
  • Provides the Brand team with a clear overview of the market evolution and competitive landscape.

2.
Supports the Launch preparation and Brand development**:

  • Owns the insights generation plan
  • Identify and define Market Insights and Competitive Intelligence needs, information gaps and select most appropriate methodology for data collection.
  • Utilize sales data, competitor insight, dynamic opportunity data, SFE data, and market research to integrate these insights into actionable product/brand opportunities and bring clear and synthetic recommendations for management decision making.
  • Develops and maintains effective systems and processes to monitor and collate competitor information from all appropriate sources.
  • Provide an objective in depth understanding of the Oncology market and the key drivers of brand performance.
  • Constantly challenge the Brand team based on insights.

3. Prepares the future**:

  • Provides insights to enable the Brand team to make recommendation on LCM and business opportunities to maximize brand value for the customers.
  • Foster a customercentric culture by anticipating future customer needs.
  • Aligns and integrates with the Brand Team the business insight, CI, pricing and market access partners to inform the forecast assumptions.

4. Support Oncology performance tracking**:

  • Collaborate to develops and maintain effective management information systems and associated reports to monitor market dynamics, track return on investment, and meet the reporting requirements of performance objectives.
  • Support all analytical activities in support of commercial priorities e.g. KPI tracking, management reports, KAM analysis, forecasting, market research, digital analysis etc.
  • Work with stakeholders to regularly monitor, measure and drive performance against metrics, flagging risks and concerns as and when identified.
  • Be involve in develop and design of dashboards that meet the needs of the business by providing a focus on KPIs and supporting ROI decisions/analysis.
  • Drive customer analytics to enhance knowledge about customer insights and identify changes across key accounts.

Skills and additional Requirements:

  • Substantial and successful experience working in a similar role in a pharmaceutical company
  • Oncology knowledge/experience desirable lung and breast cancer
  • MBA/ marketing degree or equivalent in life sciences is desirable
  • Forecasting theory, expertise and practice
  • Proven ability to deliver concise and impactful analysis.
  • Experience of building and managing data systems and tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to work in a team
