The Senior Director, Sustainability is responsible for developing and executing a globally impactful partnerships strategy that underpins NTT's sustainability commitments and organisational purpose.
This position will oversee NTT's implementation of sustainability partnerships, linked to the activation and sustained growth of employee volunteering that extend NTT's deep legacy and expertise in social impact, philanthropy, community and employee engagement.
Working at NTT
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develops, and executes NTT's sustainability partnerships strategy in collaboration with the SVP of Sustainability and other executives to elevate NTT's unique technology solutions and capabilities.
- Oversees and activates the company's employee volunteering programme, enabling employee volunteer days to participate in the strategic partnerships on a regional and local level.
- Establishes a robust measurement framework with external verification to ensure all partnership and project outcomes and impacts can be consistently evaluated, both impact for NTT and impact to society.
- Establishes a regular monitoring with impact dashboards for the senior executive audience to see at a glance performance.
- Oversees and develops the business cases for prospective and existing partners in collaboration with other NTT functions.
- Actively directs NTT's partnerships across the technology sector, including direct management of major partnerships, by creating and executing joint partner business plans with short and longterm horizons and a strong focus on relationship activation resulting in measurable impact and revenue/value creation.
- Works collaboratively across NTT's teams from innovation, go to market, sales enablement and global marketing to prioritize, establish, and grow new data and technology integration sustainability partnerships within the industry to show case and elevate NTT's unique capabilities.
- Applies the positive impact and results from the projects to support SVP Sustainability and the NTT business to develop new services and solutions across verticals.
- Supports the SVP of Sustainability directly contributing to related, earlystage initiatives and opportunities in our sector.
- Collaborates with internal leaders to activate, deliver and achieve sustained growth of employee volunteering to meet NTT's sustainability public ambitions.
- Develops strong external relationships with NGOs, Government and Academia to evidence to our clients and alliances NTT's position as leader in public policy.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

- Inspirational leadership skills, combining an entrepreneurial spirit with a high level of energy, dedication, and care for team members; unquestionably strong background in people leadership and mentorship

- Understanding of sustainability issues and how to commercialize them through positive collaborations; demonstrated ability to connect these challenges to real infrastructure solutions to demonstrate leadership and commitment to sustainability
- Deep understanding of the IT Services sector and communications technologies
- Ability to analyze reports and sustainability frameworks for risks and dependencies
- Ability to manage multiple longterm projects with multiple stakeholders in an international context to achieve global impact
- Ability to articulate points clearly and concisely, and to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities
- Has a sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on company's success
- Has critical thinking abilities and problemsolving skills
- Successful bid writing, government affairs, public affairs NGO/charity, comfortable on world stage negotiating partnership deliverables and high profile speaking opportunities
