ROLE:

This is a new role within the Ebury Technology Department, reporting to the CTO.

As the Vice President of Engineering, you will be responsible for leading the technical team and overseeing the development of our company's software products.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet or exceed our customers' expectations in terms of quality, functionality, and reliability.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage a 200+ engineering team, including hiring and team performance management processes. Also plan for future team growth and work closely with HR.
  • Continue to nurture our remote first engineering culture that emphasises collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical leadership to ensure that all products are designed and developed to meet our customers' needs and expectations.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing to develop and implement product roadmaps.
  • Manage the engineering budget, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure that all engineering projects are completed to a high standard of quality, within scope, and on time.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • At least 5 years experience of leadership in a Software development role required.
  • Experience of Financial Services and/or FinTech an advantage.
  • Experience of leading teams in a remote first organisation
  • English language proficiency required.
  • Problem solving and quality focus required.
  • Drive, adaptability and delivery focus required.
